Yes, I think it's a big city .although there are not as many population as other metropolitan cities,like beijing or shanghai, it is the capital of jiangxi province so there are various kinds of government departments,penple would likely to get a proper job there and then choose to settle there.
Actually it's a small city.but it has a large population. The economics are underdeveloped.since there are not numerous industries.

My hometown is a small city. Actually it just have one main street. But there are some historical sites. Many people come to here to travel every year.
um, its ptetty hard to make a conclusion that whether there is a big or small city. its larger than so many city like dongguan, shenzhen. but the economic of this area is poor in some extent.
